In Oklahoma I am using MSMA to control a huge crabgrass problem in bermuda lawns. I normally use 2 1/2 pints of Turfmax MSMA 6 + and one pint of surfractant in my big tank (using 87 gallons of water per acre) and I get great results. I have a small 15 gallon tank on my ride-on spreader that I want to start using for acreages. I have practiced with water only and the 15 gallon tank will cover exactly an acre. The directions for the MSMA say to use 40 gallons water minimum per acre. Has anyone used a lessor amount of recommended water?
