I have a trimmer trap which is cutting through the shaft of my pe-2400 echo edger ( the steel has worn thin and now the shaft is cracked 1/2 through). It began to happen when I got a new srm 251E echo trimmer, this has a solid plastic handle which holds the rack open a bit so the edger bounces, but since it is plastic it does not wear in the rack, I was hoping that echo made an edger with a solid grip, however it looks like every model uses soft foam like the one I have, :(

    Any MacGyver ideas?
  2. Check out our Xtreme Series Trimmer rack. One of the main features of our rack is that it features a lightweight aluminum block that mounts onto the trimmer shaft. This prevents any damage at all to the trimmer since the block is the only thing that touches the rack. The block locks into the rack and holds the trimmer securely in place. There is no bouncing or rolling of trimmers in the rack which prevents damaged shafts, spilled fuel, and flooded engines.
