I have the oppurtunity to do mowing on an airport in my area. The airport is abandoned but it is about 400 acres of grass that they are wanting mowed 3 times per year. I have an insight with the property manager and he feels like the job will go for 10k per mow. I was wondering what the best route would be to mow it. I have a kubota with 6 ft bush hog. I was wondering if I would be better off buying a 60-70 hp tractor to pull a 10-12 bush hog that i could also use to move sod pavers with and do site work. Or would the kubota diesel mowers be enough to cut it? i know they are reated at like 7 acres per hour but would they bog down to much?? thanks for the help

A DOT mower said that he thought it would take 4 days to do with a batwing mower. So mathmatically it would only take 2 more days if it was a 10 ft vs a 15ft mower
