I don't typically do installs, but have a long term customer that we'd like to help out with some planting. The job is to plant 62 plants from 3-gallon to 7-gallon in a 25,000 square foot yard. The nursery is providing all materials and will deliver and set in place all plants. We have to dig the holes, place the plants and backfill. We also have to till out two beds, each about 80 square feet, then put in barrier and top with pine straw. We'll be renting a powered auger that can be operated easily by one person with a 12 inch auger. I've figured roughly 10 hours for 2 people to complete this, so am I way off?
