I am easing my way into bidding a job of repairing turf after a 9.3 mile waterline was installed. I am responsible for removing rocks and raking out soil. Disposing of rocks, seeding, straw and fertilizing. I realize that many varibles dictate this pricing. Ballpark pricing for seeding/straw per square foot. Pricing for running a rockhound and preping soil per square foot or per 1000. It is said that finish grade will be completed by excavator.

We figure it by the Sq. yd. most times it's $1.25 to $1.50.

Pauls price seems about right. The only thing to watch out for is the " finish grade by excavator ". With an excavator youu may be (+ or -) 2 feet and need to run a boxblade over the site.
    Good Luck,
