Need help Pricing Slice Seeding

    Had someone call today that wanted me to slice seed there backyard.

    12,000 SF

    6 pounds tall fescue per 1000 sq x12 @ 1.30 per pound = 93.60 for seed

    58 bucks to rent the slice seeder

    $150 in cost..

    I want to make 300 bucks

    is $450 to much????

    Thats about 75 more then I would charge but I have the equipment. Might want to think about buying one. New they are expensive but try buying a used one from a rental store or Home Depot tool rental. It will pay itself off after one season.

    Well I called him and told him $425 to slice seed and $125 to Aerate and he said do them both.... I am going to Aerate next week and slice seed closer to the begining of april.

    Now I need to line up a days worth of Seeding and Aerating!!!
