Does anyone have a safe method of removing a huge bee-hive?
I've got a hive slightly larger than a football lodged between barnsiding and an overhead light, about 16' in the air - and it's very active.....
    any ideas?
PS. waiting until dark don't count, it doesn't get cool at night and they are still abuzz.

Call someone in to remove it. Many bee keepers will do it for free since they keep the hive. If you mess with a bee's hive they become very, very agressive.

Yeah and the bee keeper might bring you some fresh honey. I have had 4 trees I have worked on with hives. They actually weigh them and pay you off that weight. They biggest I had was 14lbs. It was huge. I couldnt believe it. Dont touch it unless your nuts.:D
