    20ft X 80ft on a slope using 1-2inches river rock.
I am thinking 12 yards of stone and my cost is $32.00/yard. I am also thinking 20 bags of mortar to prevent river rock from sliding. Please help quick. What shoud my estimate be?
    Thanks.

How steep is the slope? What size river rock are you planning on useing? What will keep the mortar AND the rock from sliding down the hill together.
    Need pics please.

The slope is approxim. 30 degrees and we are thinking #1-2" river rock. Just enough to get coverage and so they don't have to mowe this area anymore. We were thinking about staking wire mesh and morting some rocks for bracing.
    Thanks:)
