Around a lot of my lawns I noticed in wet areas like the pool cages that the ground is mossy or has a green carpet of fungus, I don't know the correct name right now. Is there something I can spray to kill this fungus?

Sounds like algae. After several years of poor rain this year's rains seems to have caused a lot more algae.

WHAT CAN YOU DO??? Tell your customer to call a licensed Pest Control Lawn Care Company to solve the problem. From your very question I will bet a dime to a donut you are not licensed to do treatments.

If your a home owner, grab your phone book and call a pro. Most will come a dianose problem! Double check yourself on their dianose and treatment by gooleing. Then, and only then will you know for sure! If in dought, give a shout!
