ive got a 48" Scag SWZU with a 17hp Kawasaki twin, with only 250 hours on it. it has great compression, about 125 per cylinder. the engine starts fine, runs fine when past about 2000 rpm, but when the rpm drops, it starts to have problems; it goes up, down, up, down, and so on, but as soon as it revs up again, its fine. i dont know why this would be happening, and ive done a lot of work with lawn mower engines, so im stumped. is there anybody that knows why this is happening or how i could fix it? thanks
