I'm going to build steps for a friend using Paver type blocks in a half circle.
There going to butt ajainst the existing concrete porch.
The steps will be approx 7ft wide and in the center 43in deep.
There are 3 old steps and then the landing now so I need to rebuild 3 steps.
Overall height from ground to top of landing is approx 27in.
Whats a good block for this project?
Any ideas you might have for me would be helpfull.
    Thanks in advance.

Give Tony at North Brunswick Building Supply a call. They carry both Techo-Bloc and EP Henry products. Either company makes wall block that will do what you need and Tony will be of great help. Both manufacturers also offer contractor assistance, so they can talk you through it or if you have the time may be able to come out and look at the project.

If you have never done this before, I would suggest getting some experienced help. Steps can be tricky and in NJ the code says you will have to include a railing with your number of steps and that takes some extra work. Perhaps if you have a picture to post, you may get some better feedback.
