I own a tractor service in Tampa Fl. I do grading and bush hogging and many other things, I am branching out into lawn maintenance and I need to know how to price the yards. Am only going to offer mowing, edging, and blowing off the drives and side walks. Do I charge by the ΒΌ acre or sq ft? Please help me out

    Thank you,
    Tony Reeves

    by the job....

some will have more, edging, line trimming and such than others. some will have hills.

try to bid by the job and time wise. most try to keep there time around 1.00 a minute, sometimes this cant be done.

    I have a min of 45.00 for a 1/4 acer lot...

always add a 5 to waht ever you bid.....if it looks like a 50.00 make it 55.00

five bucks is a ton of money.
I always go a little high because people try to make me come down...

if you had 40 customers and added 5.00 to everyone that would be 200.00
and if they were weekly that's 800.00 a month.
if there are 10 months in the cutting year
    that's 8,000.00

    hope this helps
