is there a way to get a little more speed out of a 36" toro 15hp wb with belt drive?
We have a 37in Toro midsize belt and about the only way to make it go a little faster is to tighten up the tension on the drive belts or replace the drive belts if they are worn. To tighten up the drive belts, there is two rods one going to each belt the ends of the rod is threaded. Just remove the cotter pin and adjust moving the black piece of plastic accordingly, if it is a T-bar you will probably have to adjust a little and check your controls until they are just far enough away, so that you can reach the red tube when pressed all the way down. I'm assuming its a t-bar, if you push the bar forward and it touches the red piece of tube then it needs adjusting. If you have any questions just ask.
I have the same problem with my toro 44" hydro. Do I increase speed the same way?
