Need options for patio walk stone

    Like travertine but not having luck with it. Don't want to use pavers any other options that are big tile like products that can with stand freeze thaw and use and abuse.

    You can use slabs (made by paver manufacturers), natural stone such as blue, flag, etc.. As far as withstanding freeze/thaw and traffic, that primarily pertains to how well it is installed.

    I was under the impression that travertine is a fragile material. In your local, you have severe winter conditions. Will it be covered with salting agents? Do you have acid (PH) rain? Is this a formal path? It is a porous material and will absorb what is thrown at it. If it is used indoors, I would say ok (most cases). It is a delicate mineral.

    Try using Travertine Mart to purchase travertine pavers. I highly suggest them.
