    Depends where you are at.............
    Our cost is $295
    fs80 is $270
Totally dependent upon your area the same as mower pricing.................

I bought 2 more FS85's this summer to keep around. They were $270 each. They list at the dealer for $319.

You probably will not find the solid shaft 85's anymore. They don't make them anymore or its almost impossible to get them. If the FS 85 says "Extreme" its the hollow shaft.

Well Dave.. we are practically neighbors now aren't we :)

I think I remember the retail as being $329 around here. Then I get 10% off... $297+tax for me.

I'm asking because I was watching an auction on ebay but these f'ing dumbasses have bid too high. What the heck is the matter with people? With shipping ($35) they are up near the price of a new one.......... :dizzy:

Both the 80 and the 85 have a lifetime warranty on the ignition and shafts..................unless you purchase them on ebay. :)

    Ah yes, E-Bay.................
I find it quite amusing what people pay for stihl equipment on e-bay in comparison to new...........sometimes MORE than new....................
