I have a customer who would like me to clean up an area in the back of his yard. The area is on a hillside and measures 120 x 150. The majority of the area is covered in 6'+ high pickers (black berrys etc.) There are also several downed trees that will need to be cleaned up, and two 7" diameter trees to be dropped and cleaned up.

Disposal of the material is not much of an issue, as we can chip, shred the material and leave the remains on the property.

Here is how I see the bid:
3 workers for a ten hour day
    1 rental brush hog
    1 rental chipper shredder
    2 chainsaws running

    $1500 plus actual rental costs.

I want to provide a fair quote while at the same time earning a profit.

    Any thoughts?

Sounds like a fair price for a regular client, maybe little low for 1 time job. 3 guys 10 hours depending on the pay could run you as much as 500$. I might would say 1800$ to begin with give yourself some padding. JMO GOOD LUCK
