A better zero turn will always be welcome , I have a 52 '' Ferris , 61'' scag and a 60'' kabota diesel and am happy with them all . I really get turned off by the name redneck mowers ? that wouldn't work for me IMO.......pete

foot operated hydraulic/electric deck lift (like kubota)
    a 48" model
compact bag and dump hopper type grass collection systems with steel impellers available for all models; at least 10 bushel capacity for the 48" and 12+ for the other decks
easy deck height adjustment (a dial like kubota and john deere)
    wide tires all around
    lightweight
sealed bearings with as little grease points as possible
ROPS that has pins built in that can be inserted and removed in seconds (like exmark)
make sure that the ROPS can fold with the grass collection systems on
    compact (length wise)
adjustable anti scalp rollers on all corners of the deck
small gap between wheels and deck (to prevent scalping)
    suspension seat
    fast ground speed
    smooth and easy controls
foot operated parking brake (like kubota)
wide engine selection (diesel and gas)
engine coolant temperature, warning lights, etc on control panel
an anti spill system option for grass collection system that prevents leaves from spilling out
    adjustable cup holder
a nice color (I like blue)
    a competent deck
    low center of gravity
little trimming edge (to prevent scalping)

i think the consensus is No on the name for sure Ted, that is pretty bad

but, i like you idea to innovate and design a new mower with your brakes as standard. i think with the right and careful design and marketing you will succeed.

shaft driven like our kubotas is a real huge plus
    exchangeable fuel tanks sounds great
largest pumps and wheel motors yhou can afford
lowest center of gravity you can make
best allround centering of weight from front to back(dsitribution)
    flat free front tires
    1/4 in deck hieghts
a very open deck design(underneath) for extreme descharge
360 anti scalp rollers on deck
make the roll bar easily removable as no one will use it anyways
no crappy deck tape as mentioned above, inmstead use perforated metal like a scag has on the flooring for the feet
i will come u pwith more to consider i am sure but there you go. oh, and paint it a very unique color not red for sure as it is overused

Apparently, not many like the name. I am indifferent to it, but perhaps you should rename it Corriher. It is unique and sounds like it is associated with quality.

    EDIT: a few more suggestions
shaft from engine to deck with a disc clutch
2 anti scalp rollers on both front and back

Make sure the engine doesn't stick out too much in the back. Base it off of the new Exmarks. Also, to be named Redneck mowers, it has to have 4 wheel drive and mud tires!!!

I must be a little, make that alot, odd because I like the name. To me a "redneck" is a hard-working, honest man who cares more about his word and getting the job done right, than he does about frilly lace, Armani suits, and fancy paint. Afterall, he got his neck red by working with his hands outside in the sunshine.

Okay, and maybe 4x4 trucks with 8" lift kits, mud tires, and a gun rack in the back window.

yeah , you name says it all man, go with it. like the name of the brand is your last name and the mower should be not named until it is finished. then you can look her over and call it like you see it. maybe she is a brute, maybe a greenmaster. who knows. but that is a thought.
