    Is that Centipede turf? Up here in WA we have ryegrass, which is a very different look.

    Also, doesn't spread using rhizomes.

    St Augustine. No question about it northern turfs/cool season grasses are far better looking than ours. We get rye overseeds in the winter and they do look good but waste huge amounts of water.

    That thing has been there for the 10+ years I've lived in this neighborhood. I walk by it every week and it sets off my witfwdslt thinking mode. It has never been broken or leaked to my knowledge. For 500 bucks they could get that turned into a DCVA and installed below grade in a box.
