Amsoil just released a new CJ-4 15W-40 for diesel applications. This oil has a very good TBN of 10.4:clapping: This oil will complement the CJ-4 5W-40 that has been available for a couple years. I included a link for further data if interested. Please do not hesitate to ask any questions if needed.

Hey I was doing some reading on CJ-4 spec'd oils and see that they also re-formulated the DEO 5W-40 to bring it's TBN up to 10+ as well. They are giving it an extended drain rating of up to 3X the OEM's conventional drain interval or 50,000 miles. That is awesome news for those of us with DPF'd diesels. Is it available now or are we gonna have to wait to order it? I will get mine switched over ASAP.

Thanks for the heads-up, it looks like it would make a good "fleet" oil for use in the trucks and the mowers in
    Florida.

Also, does anyone know if it would be a suitable replacement for the hydraulic system in the mowers where Mobil 1 15w50 is specified?

It would be nice to standardize all of the above to one oil.
