    Hey ARP,
just wanted to say I read your entire thread when I was at work and enjoyed it a lot. And as Kray said you are an inspiration to us all.

I really admire how when your main line of work with ROWs basically disappeared you hung on and just redirected your focus to a better part of the business. Most people would of just gave up there business and moved on.

Thanks for the comments guys:drinkup: Hope everyone is staying busy these days.

Got a few minutes so I thought I'd update on our status this year:

Mulch and materials- For our first season, things have gone OK. While sales did not reach the levels we expected (worst mulch season in 20 yrs according to more established players in my area), we did gain a good amount of market share and are ready to expand more next season. We've finalized our process for making mulch, and are already pursuing a few large deals for next year. Also on the horizon, we are pursuing becoming involved in the loam, custom soil, sand, and gravel supply business.

Grinding- The contract grinding side of business has been slow to get going but we just finished up several weeks of grinding for a client and are in talks to provide similar services to another client in the area. So far, the machine has proven to be very economical in processing the typical debris brought into a composting or mulch yard.

Land clearing and excavating- Pretty quiet. We've had several small projects but nothing major to speak of. So far the 50D and mower continue to make the most money for our company outside of mulch and grinding.
