Andrew and Kepple do you guys have any demand in your area for grindings that would be used as filter medium or erosion control? Already too many mulch supply available around hard to compete but filter medium and erosion control mix sells for more and not widely available.
Andrew looking good. Would be great to plan a walk around this winter of your operation if it work into both of our schedules

We dont have a demand for a filter medium here that I know of. We have not been asked anyway to produce it for that purpose. Our customers in South Florida may be using it for that purpose, but im not sure. The only other use that we have seen for our mulch products is temporary parking lots.

We color the mulch on the second grind. So the third grind, or "regrind" that you see in the videos is purely for size reduction of the mulch.

Sorry- didn't even see the response there Dylan. I've ground some mulch in the past for a filter medium but it is not a big business in my area. Other than one guy who blows it into socks, no one has asked me for that kind of mulch.

Here is a project I did earlier in the summer. Pretty standard brush mulching job that turned into prepping the area for a lawn that the homeowners wanted to install by themselves in the future.
