Who ever bought it got a great deal!
Was that your grinder for sale also? How is that part of your business doing?
Yes, our grinder is for sale as well. That part of the business has been doing ok, but I am finding that I can produce our mulch in other ways without tying up capital in the grinder. We are starting to go after some material reclamation work (screening and crushing) as well as some larger land clearing jobs that require a grinder bigger than ours. Since we have access to a couple larger tubs and horizontal grinders through some companies I partner with, we want to redirect the capital we have in our grinder towards a screening plant on tracks or a piece of land to establish a bigger material yard.
Cool, good to hear. I was looking at stump grinders on some equip forum and said hmm that looks familiar hah.
Take it easy.
Here are a couple photos from a 15 acre clearing project we just finished up on the MA/NH line for a highway expansion project (no particular order):
Man that Kenworth is sexy. Do you have a driver for it or do you drive it personally?
And this is how we are starting to do our mulch:
I drive the KW personally right now.
What all do you have for equipment now?
I dont blame you there Andrew. I wouldnt want somebody driving it that didnt respect it either.
