i have been looking at getting this same piece. just had a question though. have you used it to open up new beds? or have you just re-edged existing beds? i have a few customers whose previous company never deep edged the mulch beds, so there is no boundary between the mulch and grass, and i offered to deep edge everthing for them, so it would be like opening up a new bed. would this unit be able to do that?

Although it is not ment for that, it would have no problem at all doing it. I have done the same thing on a few beds. Works great.
