New Cat 257D any thoughts?

    What type of price did they give you for the 259? Curious to see the price differences from up north and down south.

    Radio, ride control, and quick attach they can do at the dealer. Also have them up your warranty to 3 yrs

    That's about 43-44k before tax. Tax is 6% here

    Svl 75 is 60 otd with tax

    This 259d new ac heat cab radio manual connect prop hydro, 2 speed with no bucket n a. 1 yr warranty is 44500 before tax. In thinking ill offer 45 n make them add thd 3 warranty ?

    Also what is the proportional hydraulics? It had that

    Not sure if you can swing it, but if you can...could save you a bunch of $ - call Gerald, he's not that far away and has an almost new unit for a lot cheaper than new. He always has an inside avenue for getting these. Great guy to deal with too.

    Sorry, thought for sure the above unit was enclosed w/ ac. Must have been something else I was looking at. Will try to find it.

    Yes make sure you do the triple flange idlers if you are going to be on hills or running over stumps or rocks. Wide track I could do with out.

    Ok.

    Now my Deere dealer has stepped up to the plate with a new fully loaded 323D track loader for the same price.

    Any thoughts on that machine?
