I finally got to drive and examine this new mower. Guys this will change the walk behind mower portion forever. 27HP Generac? are you kidding?!!!! fastest blade tip speed ever on a walk behind, goes 8-10 mph with the platform down, and you can flip a steel govenor over the t-bar to go a little slower went walking behind it. Every part on the deck and belts is the same as the zero turns, same quality spindles, and they said best striping mower on the market without a kit, and it runs doubles so easy. 50" deck, over 3+ acres and hr! Can't wait to get ours!

oh couple other things. You can control the OCDC right from the operator's position, it's electric start, and you adjust the height control with a handle as well on the fly like just as fast as their foot pedal adjustment

If I had a dixie chopper dealer in my area, it would be the first thing on my list to buy.

smaller deck for some lawns, better on hills and areas you need to walk. the speed I'll have next year with that and my 60" ZTR Dixie will be so awesome. I use a dealer 150 miles away, that's how much worth I feel they have

Whether or not the Run Behind is here to stay is questionable. Dixie has the exclusive right to be the only mower at my local dealer (special pricing and other perks for exclusive dealers) and they have allowed him to sell other branded walkbehinds. That doesn't say much for Dixie's commitment to the Run Behind.

I really don't understand your rationale behind that statement. In fact, you could also look at it this way: Dixie is so confident in their design that they want people to compare them. Faster, more HP, better cut and faster tip speed, tons more features, easier to work on etc I'm sure they feel will win the business. And if you are a dealer, you want a couple lines because it increases your chance for a sale with everyone's taste being different.

BTW, this just in. Dixie will leak this out half way thru this year, but I was told that Dixie is also coming out with a 34" Run Behind next year, with demo models in the field starting this July

Mowmoregrass, I'm not interested in any other dealer, thank you though for the idea. The guys in Syracuse are the best, plus I get to go to Turning Stone Casino everytime! Up $1,100 this year!
