Just got this truck friday. It's a 2004.5 Dodge Ram Quad Cab SLT with the High Output Cummins Turbo Diesel (325HP, 600 LB/FT). It's fully loaded with 6-disc CD changer, over-head console, fog lights, electric seat, power windows, locks, seat, mirrors, cruise control, and alloy wheels. It's got only 6000 miles on it. It's an awesome truck, just a little better than the 1996 Dodge Dakota with a 3.9L V6! Can't wait to get my trailer out of storage and see how it drives with my equipment hooked up.

Thats awesome! I love it so much!

Don't waste your time getting equipment out of storage, unless you pull a 30' enclosed, it won't feel any different except for the length. trust me LOL.... I got my Cummins 2 weeks ago, i think its around 165hp. Its a '94 1st generation 12 valve. Good motor, gobs of power for me... it laughs at me whenever I put the 22' open trailer and mowers behind it... I wouldn't mind turning it up a bit though still :D
It has 3.50 gears, whats yours got?

Sweet truck, enjoy the payments :p

Put a TST kit in your 94 and you will have a lot more power. I have a 94 and it has 285 HP and 605 ft torque with the kit. I will now ugrade to more power because I got my tranny upgraded.

Rob, We have a TST place in town. I would like to up my power, but I'm scared to because of the transmission :( I figure the stock setup is much safer on the transmission. So until i'm rich and can upgrade the tranny i likely won't upgrade the motor... But, you never know I might get a wild hair and do it anyway LOL.

Go to Edge Products and get the ez of juice model. It will give you any where from 25-65 more hp and about 5-7 more MPG. Worth the 400-600 bucks you spend on it with the fuel prices going up.
I was getting 16 loaded and 19 unloaded and put the ez model in and am now getting 19 loaded and 26 unloaded.

I just don't see how you can work in a 40,000 dollar truck.... just can't understand it.

I love your truck.. I really do, but I just could not go out and cut grass in that thing. You will inevitably put dings and scratches in it. The inside will always have dirt and grass and smell of sweat. I used to work in my personal truck, but never again!
