I found a used Exmark Lazer Z Advantage series. The motor is a Kawi 28 with a 52" deck. The motor has 50 hours on it. The deck is a Ultra Cut deck. It comes with a Mulching kit and a spare set of blades. He is asking 7000.

    My question to yall is...

    Is the price good?

    Is the motor good?

    Is the deck good?

Basically what i am asking is if anybody has any information Good or Bad about the mower please let me know.

Yall may remember that the reason that i am unhappy with the mower that i have now is that it is under powered(IMO). Right now I have a 18 Kohler 48" Toro. Will this mower be a good upgrade?

Well you do have 50% more horsepower... Have you tried it?

How can I say whether the motor or deck is good without seeing it and trying it out?

It's a nice machine, but I would never pay 7k used.

    That sounds pretty high.

The price does sound high but i have heard good things about how the ultra cut decks cut grass. Is he including regular blades or does he have mulching blades like gator blades?

If I was going to spend that kind of money, it would be on a 60" TT.

    I totally agree with that.

In a lot of areas, the mower sold for that new basically.

I think some guys have been getting the 28/60" for just over $7,000 brand new, full warranty... no more than $7,400 if memory serves me correctly.

New mower values 'tank' once they have cut grass, much like a new car does when the papers are signed.

    $7,000 is way too much.
