I just installed a new feature... Now, when anyone replies to a thread their reply must contain at least 15 characters. If not, you will get the message....

"The text you typed is to few words or characters. Please post at least $minchars characters. This feature cuts down on SPAM and pointless replies."

Any input? NO super short replies please! LOL

yes, it does... it counts # of characters, not words. I'm pretty sure that spaces between characters count...So, your reply ' ______dont work ' is exactly 15 characters in length.

I would like to get some more feedback on this new feature that has been installed.

How has this been working out for you? Do you find that it is hindering your posting? Or do you find that it has been cutting down on those one word answers, and you like it?
OR..... it makes no difference to you either way, you're just glad to be a part of lawnsite? :D

    Thanks,

I would file that under "Not User Friendly". Just my opinion.
