this is a great way to cut emmisons. 85% ethanol, 15%gassoline. with this only a fraction of the oil feilds would need to be in use, so, they could grow corn for ethanol, on the old oil fields

If every available acre of crops grown today in the U.S. was converted to corn production solely for the use of ethanol, it would only meet about 2% of the U.S energy consumption. Ethanol will not solve much of the U.S. energy problems. I got my info from the U.S. Dept of Agriculture.
