Thinking about heading into a new direction with the lawn care business...

Thought about selling my clients and equipment?

    Has anyone done this before?

LOL..tried it for 4 days and absolutely hated it. Backed out of the buy out and I am so happy now for doing so. Stick with what you love.

Harper, you bring up a very complicated/serious issue, and give very little to go on.

Is all you want to know is advice on 'how to' sell your biz, or you asking opinions on selling out?

Will inform everyone about the new direction (stay tuned!!!)

How shoud I go about selling my clients/equipment is my real question.

Put up a flyer at the equipment shops.

Or there are businesses that specialize in the sale and purchase of routes. There is an office a town south of me. Oh, not sure if it is still there.

Also talk to other LCO's in the area where your working. Don't know how large a route you are selling. It maybe easier to sell in pieces. I bought 5 accounts in an area that I was light in a while back. This guy downsized sold pieces of his route to 3 LCO's

Run add in your local paper if needed.
