We are just about to take delivery of 2 more Saber Tooth Tigers. Some big improvements have been made.

Deck lift, spring assistted now, no more big leg muscle needed.
    Larger one piece oil cooler.
Wide front castor tires, smoother ride.
Oil tank smaller and relocated to side of engine, easier access.
Air Filter turned to make room for oil tank.
Relocated and beefer ROPS, that folds down to get under trees.
Front right side of deck reinforced.
    Seat slightly lower.
Looks to have larger fuel tank.

On our first set of Scags we have some clutch problems, but that has been rectifide. Defective spot welds from Ogura(clutch manufacture.) Problems with OEM mulch plates. Corrected by dealer and us, factory looking at our modifications to fix problem.
Other than those two items, the units are working out great.

most of the things you listed were standard on the 2002 turf tigers. the sabre tooth was indeed ready for an uprgrade. what motor is going to be on the sabre tooths you are getting? the 31 hp turbo diesel, 31hp gas, or the 29 hp EFI gas?

31hp turbo diesels. We are trying to slow convert are entire fleet to diesel. Less problems with operators putting the wrong type of fuel in machines.
