What do you guys think of this? We were subbed out this job by the company that built the cell tower. Since it was in the city they designed everything and basically told us what to do. All the Leyland Cypress trees were 25 gal and had to be dug with a backhoe, I believe 25 all together. I still can't figure out why they wanted cheap ass pine trees there but we did what we were told. Job cost nearly $9,000 but over $5,000 was just for the plants and 10 loads of dirt we hauled in.

Real nice! However, you may get some slack like I did for using pine needles. It must be a southern thing to use pine needles.

Whoever designed that is a numbskull! Those crappy pines are white pines and will get very large. They are wwwaaayyyy too close to the fence.

That was my thoughts exactly but we had to do what they drew up. I hate F$^&ing pine trees. But I like money so.......
They said the idea was to block the tower from the neighborhood across the street, which was a dump to begin with.

agland your right but thats how these big companies are they get gov't kick backs and breaks for planting x amount of trees when they put up substations, towers and the such. They did that down the road from me. It is so over planted with the cheapest sh!^ ever.

Way too close to the fence. You'll be either cutting or yanking them out in a couple of years.

Its the cities job to maintain it from now on. They wanted the pines and the myrtles 24" away from the fence.
