Sucks when your full into a project like that and it rains and slows the momentum. Looks good, can't wait to see the finished pics.

Well the first one rain there its 25 miles away
Hasn't rained here so We started one in town
We as hoping to seed it today but didn't happen winds pick up 20-30
The dirt wasn't way I like to get a final grade a good rain would do it justice

Then home owner came home and now they want some better top soil. I tried to talk them in good black dirt. The other 2 Landscapers said wasn't nothing wrong with the dirt But they was going seed it as it was no grading
    and no swell cutting
    This lawn is 23k sf.
One company bid said 14k with no grading what you see iswhat he was going seed and it was rough grade with a dozer
2nd Company bid was 18k sf and he said same thing what grade is there is the grade they going to have

To check it the square feet of the lawn I re walk it off and let home owner figure it up and doing that sold the job

Here is few pics of it
2 pics how I haul my stuff

After this one I moved my tiller to my 3rd lawn install tilled some but the Contactor is still working on the back deck so I didn't do much to much junk in the yard

I like your equiptment, do you use the tractors mostly for lawn install. Lawn install's are fun to do. I find myself doing a couple a year, depending on the new construction market. I learned that it's almost a different ball game doing new lawns. You have to have the right equiptment and experience, also the wheather can be a huge sucess or failure with a new lawn install. If it rains to much you won't be able to get your equiptment on the lawn for awhile and even the high winds constantly blowing the straw into the neighbors lawns, that's not fun. I'm allways checking the wheather before and after our lawn install just to premeditate the job. Looks good, we have a few new installs this year. I'm trying to get better each time around.

I average 20 per year on new installs

Wind isn't a factor as long its not blowing to hard during seeding and blowing straw I have a 500 gal Finn hydro seeder I can spray glue on the straw to hold it till it rains
That's what the tractors are used for I grade with a Skid My 5240 skid is more for rough grade I rather run my 3825 skid to get final grade around the house But We left the little skid up at the first job and My big one I had to use at the 2nd lawn it work but its easier to see everything in the little skid

My 5240 bucket hold twice what my Little 3825 holds

I use to travel a lot but since my Mowing side has got so big its hard to leave town
My biggest seeding landscape job was a 2 year project in 94-95 To understand the size of it I blowed 7,000 square bales of straw Installed 800 tons of river rock It was a big factory

What type of lawn will you install and will it be by sod or seed?. Nice work so far. Always a plus when you have the right people using the right equipment!
