new kubota z700 mower

    I like Kawi. I don't care for Kohler at all anymore outside of their hydraulic lifters.

    Won't matter to me. As long as they stay looking like the current machines do I'll never buy one. :nono:

    How well are the kubota gas engines holding up anybody got one with some hours to brag about I'm contiplating getting the zg222 gasser or the zd221 diesel

    My zd 326 has 1200 hrs and my old 94 woods has 2000 hrs. Both run like a top and have had no issues of any kind relating to the motor. A well taken care of Kubota diesel should go 6000+ hrs without a rebuild. The 3cyl gas is about the same.

    So other then the torque and better fuel Econ the gasser is a good quality mower for the money diffrence I just keep telling myself for a couple grand more I can get a diesel

    As long as its the inline 3. Now next year they are going to teir 4 emmisions on 25hp and bigger for diesel. So if you want a Big diesel now is the time to buy. My ferris dealer said on the cats it going jump 5k in price. I don't know about Kubota.

    You might have some minor things on the external of the motor go bad with the gas, but I don't even think you have valve adjustments with it.
