New Leaf Truck

    She ain't pretty, but she runs good. 1975 Chevy C50. Bed measures 13.5' in length, 7.5' in width and 4' high sides. It did have a rear gate, but only a grain gate. Need to come up with my own. The extensions on there now are only 18". I could easily take them off and build ones using 4 X 8 plywood. That would bring the sides to about 7' high.

    I will take all opinions, good and bad. What I need to know specifically now is what kind of tarp to use? What kind of fabric and what size of holes?

    Yep....its on the list, along with headlight, front right turn signal, mufflers and it also needs a hitch welded on it......that's first and foremost.

    You should be able to get plenty of leaves in that sucker!!!

    Sorry, Didn't answer your question-- Northern Tool has a tarp that is sort of a mesh type. That will let air pass through but not debris.

    I found what I was looking for.....80% mesh!
