I will be estimating a lot that has approx19 acres. There is a lot of triming and 2 places on a hill that will require a smaller mower. I need help estimating. Is there a standard charge /acre?

Its hard to come up with a standard charge since all lots are different. A wide open lot with no trees that can be mowed with a 60 or 72" mower can be mowed in a quarter of the time than the same size lot with 200 trees, hills, curbing and sidewalks that need to be edged and so forth. The lot you are describing, sight unseen so I am guesstimating in my area, I would charge at least $50 per acre.

If it is mow only and little to no trees, I'd shoot for $50 / acre up to ten, then something like $45 for 10 or more. Also, this would be if the acreage were well-maintained. . .not something that needs to be bush-hogged and only if they want regular maintenance. Otherwise, I'd walk on it.
