When advertising with flyers do you target the newer housing developments or do you target the older established neighborhoods. It seems there would be more younger people with money to spend in the new developments however there would be more elderly people that need a lawn service in the established neighborhoods. What do you think would be a more productive area?

In my area, the new houses are so expensive they can't afford a higher priced lawn service. The new housing developments are zero lot line properties too. I like they bigger properties that I can charge more for and they homeowner is home to appreciate what I do for their lawn.

up here the older properties give us the most RELIABLE business. lawn care, clean-ups, chemical, and snow removal. in this area the new housing are placed on small lots with no trees. the older homes are the opposite, and these people have plenty of money. good luck.
