New Orleans - NOAA interactive map

    Hey I just thought I would share this with you all. The interactive map allows you to zoom into a particuliar zone of the Gulf Coast hit by Katerina. Now the pictures haven't been updated yet, so I think it is showing pre-hit photos. They are suppose to be updating them within a few days or less. The address is:

    hey, i was wrong. The photos are after the hurricane came in. In some of them you can see boats and wave runners going through the streets. And also helicopters doing actual rescues. Sorry.

    Try google earth. I just installed it and the pics of NO are quite good. Can't wait to see the after overlay. Oly
