New pad for duplex

    Hello thought Id post some work we are doing in Houston.

    Heres another, Still gonna build up 6" with bank sand.

    Looks like it is coming along. Looks like on the right pic the banks are sloped. Is it a 2:1 slope? How much within tolerance did the flat (base) bottom in the pics have to be within tolerance?

    The base is fairly level about 1"+/-. Iam still rolling it in with the hoe. This is just a rough grade as the finish will be when I bring in the sand. Lots of rain down here. I hope to have a compaction test done this coming week. As Iam the builder/owner the only tolerance's are mine. Its still pumping fairly good without the rain we started getting this week. Its interesting to see on here all the different issues people have building in there areas..
