yeah I know its not a big time record but for us it was good. Um, the house was over a million, with the property in around 1 1/2 acre. Oh and it was 89*.

Not bad, though I guess I don't know what lightning fast is.

Myself and one guy spread 10 yards last saturday with one wheelbarrow and it took us 3.5 hours from mulch dump to throwing the folded up tarp in the truck. Bed around the front and sides of the house, 2 detached beds in the front yard, and 7 tree rings, 5 of which I cut a new edge with a spade shovel.

Two weeks ago, my business partner and I hauled, hand unloaded and wheelbarrowed (had two, a single wheeled and a double wheeled) 42 yards of dark hardwood mulch. The beds were all around the house, 20+ tree rings, an islands bed (that was very large) and a court yard. We did that job in about 9-10 hours with only making 3 total trips to pick-up the mulch. We had an 18ft flat bed trailer and our 04 GMC Duramax short bed. I will post some pictures this weekend. This was about a 1.1-1.2 million dollar property.

I have a very hard time believing that one, with making 3 trips and hand unloading the truck and trailer...

Its very easy, the supplier was about 6 miles away from our job site, the 42 yards worked out to be 63 scoops, so we had 6 in the truck and 18 on the trailer, 2 trips like that and one trip of 15 on the trailer. We just turned up the truck radio and got to work, only stoping to get more mulch and go through a McDonalds drive thru on the way.

Last May,I had 40 yards dumped in 2 places on a house. On that same day,I spread 4 yrs doing the beds near the house. The next day,I hired 3 guys. Two guys loaded the wjeel barrows while myself and another guy spread the mulch with stone rakes. It took 3.5 hours to complete the other 36 yards, however ,the beds were wide open which was a big help.:)

Last week me and 2 guys did 20 yards in 2.5 hours.

Mulch was right next to the bed and it was a wide open bed.

    Easy Easy
