I am so happy today I got my Redmax EB7001 and it is so powerful. At first I was looking at the 4401 but then my dealer let me do a demo of that Vs. the EB7001. There was no contest so I got the EB7001. I was just wondering one thing. It is a 40:1 mix right and how many oz. per gallon would I have to mix to get it. Thank you for any input. :D

50:1 I am pretty sure, or at least thats what I have been using

It's supposed to be a 50:1 mix, but I use Amsoil at 85:1 in mine and have had no problems. Seems to run cooler and more power, but I have no hard facts to back my experiences up.

I use Opti-2 oil, mix it 50:1 and I have had no problems with my 7001.

:blob3: i use amsoil and super unleaded and all 12 of ours run awesome, some almost 4 years old. tony

took the cylinder off of one of my older blower to change the base gasket and after four years of strong use the cylinder and rings appeared as if they where new.
