so I went through a number of clients properties and aerated and de-thatched came back and top dressed with compost and over seeded and then sprayed with liquid kelp and humic acid mix. It has been one week and no germination yet. Night time temp is around 40-45, I am planning a follow up in 3 weeks with the kelp and humic acid mix. Should I be more patient or did I do something wrong.(first time over seeding with compost)

Give it time.I'm assuming you seeded with fescue. One week is not long enough.Give it another week and then check for results.

depending what you overseeded with, could be up to 21 days. Be patitent and make sure they are keeping it moist.

hey thanks guys, I just want the best results. The seed was a fescue and rye mix. Has anyone else overseed on a compost top dressing and how was the results?
