I am a new user and i am not sure if my first message got posted. If any one can help, I have questions about my new SOD lawn that I have just put in(Bluegrass/Fescue).

1-How long and at what times should I water?
2-Parts of the lawn are mushy(2-4inches of topsoil), will it firm up?
3-When can I walk on it?

    Thanks for your help.

    1. Water 2-3 times a day depending on weather. The dirt under the sod has to stay moist. It is very hard to overwater sod.
    2. The turf will firm up after the sod has taken to the new soil and watering is diminished.
    3. You can walk on it now but should limit it to when needed only. You should be able to mow it in about 2 weeks.
