:help: I can't remember where I heard it, but i checked out Dodge's mexico site, and they have a Dodge Ram 4000! Its a basic Cab Chassis truck. I was wondering why this truck isn't being made in the U.S. to keep up with the all the F-450's out there.

DC already has Freightliner and Sterling trucks, why come out with another line of Medium and Heavy duty trucks when it is unnecessary??

Did you get a chance to check out the new Power Wagon?? Hemi, 4.56 gears with lockers front and rear, elect. dis-connect sway bar for rock crawling, 17x8 wheels, etc.

But it too is made in Mexico.

The Power Wagon is a sharp truck, I am not a Dodge guy, but I wouldn't mind having one. The only thing about it is I'd hate to see the gas bill for a month with it.

My dad's rollback car hauler is a 2005 Dodge 4500 with six speed auto. They are in limited release and he had to pull some strings to get his hand on one. It has the high output cummins and is an animal.

Does it have split rims? I saw some pics of the Mexican 4500's and they apparently still use them.

Do you by any chance know what brand of transmission it has? Is it an Allison or something else?

Get us some pictures of that. Their is a Dodge dealership in Chicopee Mass. that has been making their own Dodge 3500 Dumps for the last year. They are dually 4wd and they are asking mid $40's for them
