I am new to fertilizing and spraying etc. Can anyone tell me what a beginner will need to start applications. What kind of tanks, pumps, hoses etc. do you guys reccommend any certain tank sizes or does it depend how many applications we will be doing? Are these tanks, hoses, generators easier to mount on a trailer or bed of a truck. I am planning on having a seperate trailer devoted to spraying. What do you guys think will work the best? Any information on the equipment I will need to start spraying will be helpful. Thanks, Landon

Decide at what you want to start, how much you are willing to invest, what your skill levels are, and whether you are able to do a good job... Start with a 4 gal. backpack sprayer and see if you can actually kill weeds...

I'm a few months in. I've acquired (so far):

2 backpack sprayers w/ trailer rack
    3 1.5gal. sprayers
    1 ATV Sprayer w/boom
    1 Lesco 80# spreader

No later than spring (but, probably sooner) I'll purchase a ride-on S/S.

    ****! I just added that up. Wish I hadn't.

I would buy a 3/4 or one ton truck, space saver, T3000, and 3 shurflo back packs. That will get you up and running. Gl sir.
