new trailer

    hey i need a new trailer and i want an open trailer. i have 2-36" mowers and 2-21" mowers. what size trailer do you guys recommend? i am not buying anything over a 14' though. thanks

    Then buy a 14 footer.. You never have enough trailer space...

    What brand/kind of 36"? You might be ok with a 12 footer if you have, for example, two Quick 36's. On the other hand, if you've got two Toro floating deck monsters, you'll be way better off with a 14'. But yeah, as was said above, you'll never have too much trailer space.

    one is a scag and one is a lesco. i am relly leaning towards the 12' because i don't have too much storage space.

    I put two 36" mowers (side by side, Stander and walkbehind), a 48" Z, a 21", and a large trash can on a 6'-3" by 12' trailer. That's a bit tight, although I could fit a larger Z if needed. You could probably fit your setup on a 5x10 if you had to.

    If you are only 14 years old, how do you plan to tow this trailer around ?

    I MADE THE MISTAKE ON A SMALLER TRAILER,, HAVE 2 Z'S ONE 42 INCH AN 52 MINI-Z AND ONE 22 PUSH MOWER,,2 BLOWER'S,,1EDGER,,2 TRIMMER 2 HEDGE TRIMMER 'S MY 1ST TRAILER WAS A 5X10,, MY NEW OPEN TRAILER IS A 2005 HOOPER-TRAILER 6 1/2 BY 14 DOUBLE AXLE WITH BREAKS (USED OF COURSE) BIGGER IS BETTER U CAN HAUL MORE EQUIPMENT,,, THAT IS MY 2 CENTS WORTH,,GOOD LUCK ON WHAT U DECIDE ON !!!!:waving:
