Here is my new Alum-Line 9ft truck bed. It will be going on a 2005 GMC extended cab, cab and chassis with a diesel and automatic. I think it will make me a nice enough work truck to drive every day.

The bed is all aluminum, no more repainting, no more scratching.

very nice. Where did you get it? How much? and does it dump. I would love something like that on my Chevy.

I got it from my local truck outfitter, but Alum-Line is sold all over the place. The bed and the hoist setup that will be put under it installed is going to be just under $7000 but it beats and old black bed that will fade and need painted all the time. It will dump but they have to be ordered specially so all the hoist mounts are put under them.

That is nice but it seems pricey to me. If it is your primary vehicle for the biz (as you said) you should be proud of yourself. Just don't get blinded looking in the rear view.

Yeah the bed is a little pricey but I think it will pay off in the long run when I'm not paying to have it repainted every winter. The aluminum treadplate will look really nice with the treadplate stone gaurd on the front of my new trailer.

I think it looks sweet, I love diamond plating. I would diamond plate my house if I could... Ok maybe not the whole house but the garage door?!!!
