I am purchasing a new home and the backyard was seeded approx. 2-3 weeks ago. The seeds have germinated and are showing growth. I live in the Midwest, so cool, rainy fall weather is upon us and I was wondering what recommendations people might have for prepping the newly seeded lawn for winter and into spring of next year. Will applying a winterizer have a positive, negative or neutral affect this late in the season for next year? Should I let it be and let the seed take naturally. Any input is greatly appreciated.
