I live in a an area of about 100K people thats serviced by a single daily paper... What should I expect to pay for a typical block ad???? And whats the best section of the paper to have your ad????

Call the business editor and see if they need a story for their bus. section.

My area isn't as big as yours but my paper put a 1/2 page story on me in theirs my cost was nothing!
It ran on the 29 of Dec. though not the best time of year but I have gotten a few customers out of it.

Jim is right. Approach them about a good story (YOU!). Newspapers are always looking for something new and interesting to cover. If you do not feel comfortable with that, submit a press release. Press releases usually get good attention and it could turn into nice publicity regardless. We utilize every opportunity possible to send a press release. Free exposure.
