Anybody know a web site or other source for ordering a Nikki Carb rebuild kit?

    FWIW, it's for a 98ish Generac 5500 generator

    Thanks

I dont have a carb lookup here. We go strictly by engine/machine model number. Sorry.
I'll bet Restrorob will have something though. They are an dealer type thing. They usually can track a kit that way.

We're a freaking nationwide corporation and dont have the means to keep that kind of thing. Yet... (stupid ISO crap)

    Redneck,

I have some numbers for you.

    It's an 11hp Generac

I think this is the generator info:
    Model: 09803-2
    Series: MC5500
    Seriel: 5057947

I think this is the engine info:
    Eng ID: EHF-00945-0
    Seriel: 7087553

    Hopefully this helps.

I have no idea what all is in the kit. You can go to Generac.com and check out the "contact us" part and I'm sure they can tell you. In all honesty, if it were me, I'd just replace the carb. But I guess that would also depend on how bad off it is.

I realize that $10 and $80 are not the same though.

I've just had bad luck with Generac carbs in the past. That's been back in uh.. 98ish actually..hahaha.. seriously. But I think most of my problems were related to the fact that the generator was mounted in the back of a van that did about 300 miles a day running service calls.
